State of Biblical Fatherhood Report
The fatherhood crisis is fueling many of the challenges churches face—though the connection often goes unseen.
When fathers are disengaged, their children suffer. Teen pregnancy, substance abuse, and mental health struggles all rise dramatically in the absence of a present, purposeful dad.
Church programs like youth group, Bible drills, and others play valuable roles, but they were never meant to take the place of a father's presence. An engaged father is the primary catalyst for his child's flourishing—emotionally, academically, and above all, spiritually.
If the church is serious about investing in the next generation and restoring a high and holy view of fatherhood, believers in the pulpit and the pew must first understand the current state of biblical fatherhood. They must recognize the unique challenges facing Christian fathers today and take intentional steps to equip them to meet these challenges with grace, courage, and conviction.
