The Bible was meant to be read in 3D! Dr. John DeLancey, director of Biblical Israel Ministries, explains how understanding the topography of the land of Israel helps you more accurately interpret the Bible. John calls this "understanding the Bible through the context of the land."
The topography of Israel is unlike any other place on earth, and its unique landscape had a big impact on the people and events of the Bible. After this interview, you'll never read the Bible the same again!
Dr. John DeLancey served as lead pastor in two evangelical churches for a total of 26 years. He's led 86 tours of Israel, with many of these trips including Jordan and Egypt. John has excavated at seven archeological sites in Israel and written two books: Devotional Treasures from the Holy Land and Connecting the Dots Between the Bible and the Land of Israel.
