Profile: Matthew Fretwell


Dr. Fretwell currently serves on faculty at the Regent University School of Divinity as an Assistant Professor of Practical Theology. He designed and wrote courses for the new MA in Church Planting. He also currently serves with the Lausanne Movement Church Planting leadership team. Additionally, Dr. Fretwell serves the East Region Evangelical Theological Society (ETS) as Vice President. He's written ten books and peer-reviewed papers, with a recent three-volume book series entitled, Multiply Jesus (Church Planting, Church revitalization, and Missionary Preparedness). Lastly, he serves other higher education institutions within their urban ministry, church planting, and doctoral departments. He holds a MA in Theology, M.Div., and D.Min.
