How do we see and experience the maximum expression of God’s love today?
Some dreams are fulfilled quickly. Some take a little longer. God-sized, God-given dreams may even take longer than our lifetimes to complete.
Dreams often take a long time to come to fulfillment. God’s Dreams, like Joseph’s, are worth the wait, however long they take.
Dreamers come in two styles: Unlimited and unreal. Unreal dreamers traffic in self-centered fantasies. Unlimited dreamers hear and follow the voice of God. Where do your dreams originate?
These words and these instructions help us check ourselves for spiritual development. The longer and the closer we walk with God, the more these words ring true. We can use these terms to gauge the spiritual maturity of those who are leaders or seek positions of leadership.
God’s simple instructions of being thankful produce extravagant results.
Some give gifts because they want something in return. Others give because they have already received more than they could have asked for, more than they could have expected or hoped for.
Jesus led the way. He knew where he was going. He knew what was in store. He knew what he wanted these followers to experience.
Deeply-rooted believers are not terrified by heat and long-range weather forecasts. Their nourishment and refreshment come from a deep and abundant source. They are fruitful while others complain.
Jesus wanted this lawyer to know baselines are starting lines, not finishing lines. The only finish line is when we arrive in the place of perfect peace and rest.
Winning friends and influencing people is frequently a matter of understanding what is going on and finding a pleasant manner of explaining it to others.
“O Lord, do good to those who are good, whose hearts are in tune with you” (Psalm 125:4). A heart in tune with God is a heart God will bless with all of his goodness.
“He made their hearts, so he understands everything they do” (Psalm 33:15, NLT). This is a good time to remember this verse because it reminds us to trust the Lord our God and Maker.
Are you in a waiting season? Wait. Tell God all about your troubles. Know that he knows. Trust that he will guide and provide. Keep waiting until God says, "Go."
Deep reverence is true wisdom. Forsaking evil is real understanding. As bottom lines go, these parallel thoughts are truer than true.
The question must be asked: Where will your pride lead you today?
Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom.
