Brad Wright is a professor of sociology at the University of Connecticut where he studies American Christianity, spirituality, and well-being. He received his Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin, where he was specialized in social psychology and criminology. He has authored two books and fifty-plus articles in general and academic outlets. He lives in Northeast Connecticut with his wife and a small, fluffy dog. They have two grown sons, both of whom live in California. He enjoys cycling, hiking and nature photography.
