Why I post these devotions
I had planned for years to write a regular blog. Everyone else was doing it, why not me?
My answer was that I was too busy doing other stuff. But after decades of lots of "other stuff," in January 2024 I decided that because of the unpredictability and shortness of life, if I'm planning to do something, I'd better get started now.
The motivation behind this updated philosophy was a big life change I'd recently experienced. My wife had suddenly passed away a few months earlier.
I thought writing about my passion for biblical leadership every week would help counteract some of my grief. It's definitely done that.
For a while I've been running a website called BiblicalLeadership.com, which offers free content and a newsletter for leaders. In addition, I manage the Biblical Leadership Principles group on LinkedIn.
I continue to write books on Christian leadership as well. (Amazon author pg.)
Thank you to so many of you for encouraging me as I've written these posts!
Keeping on,

Tom Harper
