What is the secret to 10X the success?

"To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds. At the end of the time set by the king to bring them into his service, the chief official presented them to Nebuchadnezzar. The king talked with them, and he found none equal to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; so they entered the king's service. In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom" (Daniel 1:17-20).
A 10X leader does what other leaders will not. Daniel and his three friends honored God spiritually, physically, intellectually, relationally, and emotionally. This benefited the king and blessed the whole kingdom.
Why did they do this? Deuteronomy 6:4, 5 tell us:
"Hear, O Israel:
The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."
Jesus agreed.
Jesus replied:
" 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
Matthew 22:37-40 (NIV)
What is the secret to success, including 10X success? Love God. Love everyone. Lead with love. Seek the highest and best for everyone all the time.
How do we do this? Take a look at Daniel and his friends and how they expressed these truths in their challenges and opportunities in chapters 1-6. They prayed. They took the right lead measures. They left the results to God. They were secure in their faith even if God did not answer their prayers the way they asked them.
Technique and leadership styles will never take you where only faith and character lead. Ponder these chapters. Apply what you learn from Daniel and Friends. Watch God open closed doors, save lost lives, redeem powerful leaders, and show the whole world how good and loving he is.
Our Father, I want to live the kind of life you can bless. I want to live a life that is good not only for me, but for everyone. I want to trust you in all things at all times. Thank you for Daniel and his friends and their world-changing success. Amen.
