Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever! (Psalm 111:10).

Knowing what is right and doing it is the essence of wisdom. Trial and error is one way to gain wisdom.

Obeying God's instructions is the better way. Why suffer unnecessary pain? Why cause unnecessary harm? God's way is always the better, and best, way.

Give preference to skydiving instructors who follow the rules.

Give preference to airline pilots who follow the flight plan.

Give preference to tax preparers who have not spent time in jail for fraud.

Lives shaped by truth and wisdom stand a much better chance of becoming exemplary. Live a life worth living. Live a life worth emulating. Live a life reflective of God's heart, mind, and purpose.


Our Father, thank you for giving us the gift of your wisdom. Teach us how to align ourselves with your truth and grace in all things at all times. Amen.
