To be better leaders, we need to improve our skills.
The way I do this is I look at my weakest ability (in my case, there are several I've been working on for years). I also take stock of where I feel like I'm already pretty skilled.
Next, I figure out how to improve both.
If you make one of your weaknesses a little better (say, by learning new tech skills or financial proficiency), along with improving your strongest strength, your leadership proficiency will drastically improve as well.
When I study a new area important to my business, I am better able to lead in new directions. I've been doing this with AI content tools like ChatGPT. Knowledge brings confidence, allowing me to lead, rather than just direct other people to head somewhere new.
What new skill does your organization need you to have? What weakness can you work on?
If you're already pro-level at some aspect of your job, how can you get even better?
Lead skillfully!

Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.
