A cybercriminal’s search for faith
If you are a follower of Jesus, do you remember what it was like when you didn't believe? How did you feel about God? What was your opinion of Christians?
What about just before you believed? Do you remember feeling you were about to unearth a great treasure you had been searching for all your life?
That's how it was for me. I was excited to finally believe—thrilled that I finally knew the truth.
I recently met Brett Johnson, a man also in search of faith. But his life has been very different than most people's—he was an FBI most-wanted cybercriminal who stole millions. He escaped prison, then eventually worked for the FBI, seeking redemption for his past.
Brett invited me onto his podcast to talk through some of his heartfelt questions about faith. He has my deepest gratitude and respect.
Here's our conversation:

You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.
